Nts Threave House

We visited NTS Threave Gardens near Castle Douglas, SW Scotland yesterday and it was very enjoyable. Well worth a visit if you are ever in D&G.

A great place to visit and if you go to Threave Castle nearby you can usually watch Ospreys and Peregrine Falcons bringing up young in the summer months.

I noticed that the parking was pretty good for motorhomes. It's away from the main car park and shared with coaches. There are also dedicated disabled parking bays for cars as well. Worth mentioning the cafe as it did nice food!
