We met Road Runner on the M6 and we had his Show ticket, the traffic came almost to a stop when Sian got out of the RV window to delver the ticket into Johns waiting hand., she was more out than in It looked to everyone that Sian was swapping vehicles and leaving me for John

In the last three days I have had a total of 13 hours sleep, driven 1000's of kms and helped deal with the egos of thirty three top specialists in their fields... and all I want to do is join a bunch of Funsters in their field... strange!

I'm watching a heavy shower passing through here in South Wales right now....the umpteeth one this week....and it's heading for the show :Sad: Torrential rain coming through tonight....hopefully the Brecon Beacons will deflect it a bit before I set off tomorrow

Dear Mr. Jim...

It has come to my attention that a certain John 'Road Runner' will be in attendance at Knutsford, along with some of his cohorts. This individual has been known to cause trouble when brought into close proximity with

a) utility/toilet tents
b) socks.

Since I will be arriving in possession of both of the above, please can you fix it for me to be hidden some distance from him. Considering the size of my van + tent, I imagine a spare gazebo will do as a hideaway.

After a few late ones, I thought I'd get an early night last night. In bed by 10pm - Bliss.

Then Up at 1am to the sound of the marquee being dismantled by the winds that were gusting about 40mph minimum. The ground has about two inches of topsoil on a hard substrate so I had little faith in any of the anchors. The thought of all that canvas and steel tubing flying among all those expensive motorhomes kept me tightening straps and renewing anchors till 3am, finally asleep by 4am.

Its still there this morning, Need to buy more straps today! Just going to get a shower and get ready to meet the remaining Funsters arriving today.

hi there,yep we are here at the northern show.good site,entry road in not so clever for an rv,but hey ho.weather is a bit iffy but the strong winds seem to be blowing the rain through:thumb:ive seen jim walking around this morning with a large sledge hammer which is a bit of a concern,i think hes trying to find anyone who hasnt paid their subshope everyone has a nice weekend,regards brian jo & josh:thumb:
