Northern France campsite

Hi and a big Thanks for the tips, we have picked 2 sites, one in Northern Belgium and other in France
What is the difference between Calais and Dunkirk, on the Ferry other than location
Cheers
Jeff 👍

They're completely interchangable. Just book whichever is cheaper. Calais port is actually near Calais. "Dunkerque" ferry port is actually much closer to Gravelines and nowhere near Dunkerque, which could confuse you if you weren't using sat-nav.

Strongly recommend municipal “ Aire “ at ST. VALERY SUR SOMME straight down the E402/ A16 south from CALAIS : exit Junction 24 on D32 / D940 via LE CROTOY . Worth a bit of Peage . About one hour easy driving .

Large immaculate site . Front section with ELECTRIC HOOKUPS ! Interesting walk 800 yards into medieval town centre on estuary plus extensive walks overlooking bay . €12 per 24 hours . Water . WC dump . Entry / exit via credit card . Municipal police call from time to time . Can’t fault it !
