I've just bought Nord VPN for getting TV in Spain, and I have been offered 3 months extra freeif someone uses my code to buy one. The person buying would also get 3 months extra free. Let me know if this is of interest

I have dumped NORD because its so glitchy and really slow , I had 3 year subscription but its now so poor and their customer service cant solve issues in thier system
Funny you should say that. We have been with Express VPN for years and always brilliant. They auto renewed last month at a price of £98 for the year whilst offering similar deals for new customers for 2 years. I asked them to cancel and refund which they did. I then joined NORD and immediately regretted it. Our IPTV and ITV X would not connect and BBC was buffering like mad. I cancelled the service and got a Black Friday deal with Express VPN at £118 for 3 years. Therefore, not a fan of Nord did not work for us where as Express VPN is once again working seamlessly.
Should have added we are streaming from Thailand.

I've used Nord here when setting up my firestick, it worked well. I won't get to try it in Spain until January. Does the WiFi speed cause the buffering? At home the WiFi is fast

Yes, buffering is due to speed and I do find using a VPN slows the connection even more. That was certainly not an issue here as the villa has super fast broadband and speed test is showing speeds around 950mbps

Thanks, I won't know how useful it is until I get there. We're on a site for the first month, it has WiFi, but not sure how fast it is.

Nord in year two all good. Sometimes it needs a reset but works fine.

In Thailand my 5g download speeds are 0ver 250Mbps ,, but as soon as I switch to any NORD server in any country the speed falls to 10Mbps , When I use Windscribe its still over 45Mbps

Surfshark has been my choice for the last five years !

My speed remains the same switching on Express VPN I’m also in Thailand using AIS 5G

I didn’t like up Surfshark and went over to Nord VPN and have had no problems with them on our travels. However, it has been necessary to subscribe to their Dedicated IP Service in order to watch UK television when we are away, BBC/ITV seem to have blocked their standard VPN service.

I tried Nord again this morning In Thailand using Very fast AIS 5g average speed 250Mbps but often faster ,,as soon as Nord connected on any server UK, Thailand , Singapore speed dropped to 10Mbps or less ,, and that was just normal web browsing no streaming .. thats why im so unhappy with nord ,

So far I've only tried Nord at home, but so far it has worked ok. If it doesn't work in Spain, I will look for something else. I did ask on a Spanish expats group and many people said they use Nord with no problems.
