I have had issues mentioned in other threads but I have now merged them to here as the situation has changed .

I now have No 12v or 240v power to the:
TRUMA
FRIDGE
OVEN IGNITERS & LIGHT
HOB IGNITERS
TOILET FLUSH

All 12v Habitation lights are working ,
13 AMP 240 sockets in habitation are working
EBL 226 all fuses are OK connector s are all OK no burns or shorts
so EBL 226 must be OK ...

What should i look for next ????

Battery is at 12.9v
Solar is sending 13.2V
All Fiat van related systems are working

EBL 226 tests ok so the problem is down the line to the Truma, Fridge, hob ,oven toilet none getting 12 v and the problem affects both 240v feed to Fridge and Truna ????

Is the step working? Is the awning light working? Is the water pump working? There are two big relays inside the EBL226, that control the power to different things. Maybe one of those has failed. Those questions will help to diagnose that possibility.

This van does no have an electric step, the water pump, TV awning light and internal lights and 240 v sockets all working ok ....

If it is a relay in EBL226 then i wont be able to fix it

Potentially silly question.

But

How do you know you have no 240v to fridge? Is it because you can’t switch it too 240v???

If yes, then in my understanding the control board of the fridge is powered by 12v system. So you may have 240v going to fridge, but no low power 12v going to the fridge, to be able to select 240v as its power supply.

Basically I’m saying you’ve got a 12v problem not a 240v problem.

Andy both the Fridge and the truma are not getting 240v and yes I understand they need the 12v control feed , also no 12v to OVEN , Toilet or Hob ,

If I am correct in my diagnosis it has to be a problem in The EBL 12 v relay to the Fridge , Truma , Hob ,Oven and toilet flush ??? and the othe relay in EBL226 must send the power to the lights Tv, and water pump which are all working fine ?????

Im just not sure anymore

The fridge control is 8th fuse from left. 2amp
The heater is 6th fuse from left. 10amp
Toilet is normally powered off pump supply in my experience. 9th fuse 7.5amp

Under the fuses is a 9pin connector block. Check if this is seated correctly, and pull it out and check pins are ok. The description of this connector block is
“Connection block, awning light, pump, heater”
So lists some of your trouble items.
Then still under the fuses is a 1pin connector block which is listed as
“Connector block, light, refrigerator control, D+,TV, Side marking lights, tank heater”
Also id pull this and check pins.

ll the fuses are ok using my multimeter , water pump still operates so 12v is there and all hab lights working too,,,TV also ok , side lights also OK so some of the 12v circuits are working

all pins are on 9 pin connector block under fuses are ok

testing all earths from Truma, Fridge , Hob etc they are not common and all seem ok ,,,

This may be beyond me , and i may need a MH electrical specialist.. I dont know any in Cirencester area ,, any reccomendations

The awning light is on a different EBL relay to the water pump, so if both are working then both the EBL main power relays are OK. On my Hymer there is a circuit that does a few low power items like the fridge control, heater control, hob ignition etc. A wire goes to a distribution point in the wardrobe, and there are half a dozen 1/4 inch spade terminals sending the power to the different items. Maybe that is not working correctly.

It must be a broken connection between the EBL and the Fridge as that is where the loom seems to branch off to the other items ????

If you are getting 230V to the sockets but not to Truma/fridge, have you checked the MCBs in the mains consumer unit? You may have two MCBs - one for the sockets and one for the Truma/fridge?

And if the front of the EBL has a clear plastic cover, make sure the trip has not dropped but the cover is holding it up. Had this on a partial power failure on a six server EPOS system on one occasion. Took a while to work out why 50% went off and had no power when the trip was visibly still up. 😦

Fortunately only a quarter of tills were connected to the two terminal servers on that side as both primary and backup. The rest had at least the primary, or the backup still functioning. This was before the days of holding the item file in the till so it could run totally standalone if terminal servers failed.

Anyone confused by the 25% needs to know there were four terminal servers (TC) each connector to two primary servers SC , that had no tills directly connected. So down the checkout line the they were connected.
