Burstner Ixeo i744
I have a 2021 Burstner Ixeo I744 which we have owned for about a year. Upon checking and preparing for our trip to Spain & Portugal I have an electrical problem I need help with.

The situation is there is no power going to the fridge display. We have the EBL 630 system in our motorhome. I have checked the fuse on the Engine battery
(Yellow 20 Amp) as suggested and it is fine. I have also completely reset the 12v system. We are showing no errors on any of the display panels does anyone have any suggestion or ideas please.

Regards Steve

No idea if this will help but had an issue with our Knaus in the last week or so where the 12v feed to fridge died.
Traced to 3 relays on ‘consumer unit’ board that had failed. Replaced and is now working. Not sure consumer unit is the right word but where the fuses are for habitation part of van.
Used a recommended service place for motorhomes in Ripley if that’s any good to you

How do you know the power is getting to fridge but not the display?

Depending on model you could have a display that has a board fault or it could be the ribbon connection either at display or on rear of fridge.
Which model is it please

Thanks for your reply our model does not have relays as it uses a bus system.

I have power at the output of the KM 630 to the fridge but nothing on the ribbon cable. As you rightly suggested it is more likely to be an issue at the other end of the ribbon cable or at the rear of the fridge. I am just in the process of attempting to remove the fridge unit to enable further diagnosis. I will report back on how I get on and will check the model number.

I have found the problem I just need to discover the cause, not going to be a cheap or easy one by the looks of the evidence. Somewhat concerned we do not have blown fuses. I am quite surprised we have not had a fire.

Looks like vermin chewed on of those. May be wrong though.
