I'm a newbie
I'm fitting a Victron smart shunt 300amp together with a new battery. Covered my solar panel and disconnected from mppt and the fuses for batteries from fuse block. Disconnected negative then positive and removed battery. Cut negative lead put on new ring terminals and connected up smart shunt and connected up. Put all fuses back in but I have no 12v to control panel (fuse ok). Checked continuity from negative terminal to load minus side of shunt and that is fine. I can't think of anything else. Any suggestions please 🙏🏻

Must be something simple, try replacing the fuses you pulled and reinserted

Have you made 5amp (?) positive connection on smartshunt ? Not sure that would stop all power though

Yes, I connected up the positive connection on the smart shunt.

Then you have a 12v supply - assuming the solar panel is still covered up (and EHU unplugged)

Does the smart shunt have a display (or bluetooth). Are you getting readings?

Power for water pump, fridge or entrance light sometimes by-passes control panel. Any of those working?

No, everything goes through the control panel so nothing on the 12 v side works. Attached the reading from the smart shunt.

Do you have 12v at the back of the EBL?
Not sure what an EBL is. I have a BCA PSU which has so many wires it scares me. I have phoned a local motorhome electrician who is going to look at it for me. Thanks for all your support it's been much appreciated.

An update: the electrician just got back to me. After getting the van onto the ramps they found the wires from the leisure battery had a join that was not sealed properly and water had got in and corroded the copper. It was probably coincidence that it gave up today. New cable now being put in.

Ramps for leisure battery !
New cable?

Oh, well. If it fixed. Thats what the were asked to do.
