Since 2005! 2000+ nights so far...
OK

Yes, I've been quiet here, but the old van was sold and the new van was collected last week, and so the project to convert it to a TINY (but reasonably high spec) micro camper has begun.... (hence I've been living on a forum dedicated to building...

Going to be a busy few months. Hope it will be complete long before the Stratford overland show!

If anyone is interested:-

I know that forum you have been on as myself and several other long serving members used to be there until a tiff with the mods and management a week or so ago................ Watch this space and a singing and dancing new DIY motorhome building forum will be up and running in another few days and we will be looking for friendly members just like you to join us there.

The build is going as planned, hope to fit the skylight tomorrow :)

All photos (and I mean all photos, ongoing lol) - see https://onedrive.live.com/redir?res...73&authkey=!ALI8w6sNyM6NH-M&ithint=folder,JPG

Sorry to hear about the agro on the build forum - seems to be same on all forums. I think the moderation is a bit strange on there, but the skills and information there is immense, and I'd not have started the build without advice from the locals. So shame to hear of issues.

But fine line on forums, there can be too many :( You can't post on them all, and no doubt all will charge over time :)

OK. Virtually complete and paperwork submitted to DVLA :) Under bed drawer and loo storage finished yesterday, more usable table/tray being invented this week, and had first night away, and pretty much all worked as expected!
All info on blog http://www.doyourdream.co.uk/ if interested

Been a busy and hard 3mths! (First ever self build and my DIY is "average"). We will be at the Overland show with Fun.

Hi all

OK - its totally finished, DVLA "approved", and has been upgraded already and now has an electric bed uplift :)

Build blog and pics here: http://www.doyourdream.co.uk/nv-200-self-build-campervan-index/

YouTube walk around of van below. Note, its a long video and only of interest if you are thinking of doing similar or looking for ideas. Its not a general interest video :) You've been warned!

Just found this and wow very very impressed with your work and you may have made my mind up on which van I need, thank you(y)

It will not be as detailed as yours though;)

Proper job. I am always impressed with anyone who can do their own conversion or any other sort of DIY to be honest, looks great. I am looking to go electric with the ENV 200 for a camper to replace my car in the not too distant future.

Beautiful conversion Your comments about stealth van have got me thinking. Wonder why there aren't more stealth vans. I really love this conversion
