Nice stop above Mofat?

Going to Fort William April and need a stop somewhere above the Moffat area ? Doing the NC 500 ,

Depends what you mean by "above" Moffat. Invercoe as you come out of Glencoe is open all year. Good views down Loch Leven one way , and views to Pap of Glencoe the other way.
If above in youe question was meant as about , then I agree with both of the above answers.

Thirded !! the Green Frog ! btw food is brill too, their "full Scottish breakfast " is the business and they do a gluten free one too !!

Thanks for ideas want to idealy get past Moffat so its easier run to Fort William. Any "free" stops out there as an alternative?
