I don't have Lithium batteries myself yet but this deal seems like a genuinely good price. £699.99 - 12V 170ah, 5 year warranty.

125 amp continuous discharge so will run inverter up to 1500 watts I guess 😃

Looks like a good price.
i have been trying to order 2x100ah batteries of them but 4 days now waiting for a postage quote for Northern Ireland.
Not sure how good customer service will be if I can't get more than an automated generic response.
Now considering a sterling 150ah at £720 and £17 postage.

Wissel is keeping up with pricing at the moment I believe? Any good?

or you could use the funster discount for this bluetooth & bms compact version from KS energy, also can be operated at lower temps

Not sure if this is any help, but, there is a caveat to renogy batteries. The reason they can sell cheaper is that they use pouch cells, unlike other makes use prismatic or even better cylindrical cells.
Pouch cells are not as strong as the other types, I believe.

I've used Tayna Batteries a few times and found them good for price and delivery.

Personally I wouldn't touch Renogy products with the proverbial barge pole.

Bear in mind that although they call themselves "Renogy UK" you are actually dealing with a Hong Kong reseller via drop shipping.

Have a look at Renogy's rating and reviews on Trust Pilot.
Customer care is pretty much non existent.
Loads of problems with their products.
If you do buy any of their products buy through eBay or Amazon rather than direct as at least you will have that buying platforms protection.

The Renology doesn't have low temperature protection... Personally I think that's fairly important. As mentioned, continuous power output isn't massive.

The KS Energy one is also closer to the size of a common hab battery. Although it's still a little tall, which might be an issue if you're trying to squeeze it under the cab seat. Power output is about the same though. Personally I think I could live without the heating feature, as long as it didn't charge itself when it was cold. KS do have high current versions with slightly lower capacities though.

Roamer do a 100AH battery that'll output 200A if running the coffee machine and hairdryer is what's important to you.

Their 230Ah battery can deliver 250A continuous and 500A peak. I'm very happy with mine although I haven't needed to test it at those currents.

What size battery would be suitable to run a microwave via a 2kw inverter? I am looking at a KS one as they have been extremely helpful so far in my conversations with them. The only thing holding me back though is the issue re my on board control system - nordelectric which apparently doesn't support a B2B charger without removal of a relay (as mentioned on another thread) I've got the money burning a hole in my pocket for a 200A battery ... Or is it better to go for two batteries and pay a little bit more and get a bit more capacity ?

with the ks energey 200ah you will be fine for using a micro for the time it takes
I have 2 of the KS 200ah compact series with a load of solar, and they seem to work a treat. I run them via a 2000-4000 peak inverter, and since changing to a proper inline mega fuse I have had no issues. I was prevoiously using one of these below which I have since learned isnt the best.

My 100ah renogys have thermal cutout. They do also do a 100ah with heaters. My whole renogy setup works fine except the Bluetooth doesn't always connect well but people are right about customer service being non existent. I found impossible to even find out when it was supposed to be delivered

You are correct. I assumed that as they don't mention it, it doesn't have it... which is what many lower quality manufacturers do. But if you dig into the downloads, it does claim that there's a low temp cut-off at 0C +/- 3C.

Many of the brands use an off-the-shelf Chinese battery management system. Some of these BMS are actually pretty good quality, but it does mean that you have to use the generic bluetooth phone apps that goes with the BMS, which aren't normally particularly polished.

I think mine cuts out at 0 then back in a 3 or 5c. I have the renogy dcc50s charger that does mppt solar and DCDc charging. Their networked into a Bluetooth module. It's the signal that's not great. The renogy app reads both the batteries and the charger.

Some chargers with LiFePo4 does the 0deg protection and not the battery. You can test and see if is indeed the battery that stops taking or the charger stops pushing below the set voltage protection. In my case it’s the chargers that are set not to charge below 0.

on my renogy its both, the charger also has a temp probe to the batter enclosure and the batteries have temp probes inside them

Here's my setup. It's 2x 100ah renogy batterys a charger and a 2k inverter that will power the consumer unit
