Before I give some one else my dosh, anyone got some sub c size NiCads ?
Had a flood in the van ( long story ) and the only real damage was the battery pack in a electric sweeper

Go lithium. Two lithium and it will be turbo charged. I've had spectacular success with a 24V drill, half the weight and double the power.

Two 18650s ?

I think you will find that ebay "charger" is just a protection board. Stops the batteries being discharged too much.

Just looked at a few dozen of them. The first few are protection boards. Some later ones are chargers. A lot more expensive though...£3.78. Will probably have a look at that one as I'm playing around with some ex laptop batteries at the moment.

My conversions were using RC helicopter batteries.

They were much more use in a drill than using them to turn expensive metal into scrap metal. I had a decent charger for them so that got round the charging problem.

Now sorted...
