Newbury Thanks

We left the field last night at around 8pm, just as a few die-hard funsters were off to throw a few shapes on the dance floor. We got home just after midnight. We had a really special weekend, loads of new funsters and plenty of old friends, the weather was much better than we'd been led to believe and shorts n shades were very evident. Our tentage was packed full each evening and the heater kept us cosy when the temperatures sharply dipped.

During the day our trade tent saw a constant stream of Funsters, rallliers and day visitors popping in for a chat and with a coffee wine or a beer

Brian and Pamelaaar did a stirling job of single-handedly welcoming and parking up every Funster arrival and we were never short of help for cooking bacon, tent erecting/dismatling etc. If you helped thank you so much, it's appreciated by everyone.

Funsters were on good form, lots of new friendships forged and plenty of chat and giggles. Thanks to everyone who attended, it was great:thumb:

It was good to see so many "old" funsters there and a big welcome to those who have not rallied before or joined at Newbury. :thumb:

What a Great Weekend!

Hello All,

We had a great weekend at Newbury with thanks to everyone who made it special. Thanks especially to Jim and Sian and Brisey and Pamelaaaa for all their hard work and their friendship. :thumb:

Oh, and those tyre monitors still ar'nt flashing. We had hoped that they would flash and sparkle as we sail along, wheels spinning through the dark hours. Janet ran along side the van for about 3 miles on the way home to check them. They didn't flash once, Rubbish.

ARE WE DOING SOMETHING WRONG, or are the batteries flat? We know there is plenty of air in the tyres, Janet has kicked them, (kicked me too)!

Fun is its name and fun it is for sure!

We are really looking forward to the next one!

It wasn't glorious sunshine but it was dry and plenty of opportunity to relax or just wander around.

Thanks for a great introduction to Motorhome fun

We had a Great first rally/show/meet thanks to Jim and Sian, Brisey and Pamelaaar and the other Funsters who gave us such a friendly welcome. The badges and the Cheese and Wine get together on Friday evening were a master stroke!:thumb: Broke the ice and put everyone in a friendly state of mind.

Looking forward to Malvern now and becoming ever more involved with the Funster rally scene. :Cool:
