Rally Chat Newbury Show As It Happens

Got here late yesterday. We’ve put the tea tent up. Just need to get the flags and bunting up.

The Marshals were already here pacing out the pitches in our rally area and muttering the famous Marshal Mantra. “We’ll never fit them all in here”

Our pitches are as ever at Newbury. Good and firm but sloping, so bring your levelling blocks.

The tea tent on the showground is on pitch 107. So come see us for complimentary coffee and giggles

Just back in from walking the dog. I’m wearing open toe sandals and fear frostbite. The field has a hard frost and my toes are blue The sky is also blue and bright and promises a fantastic day. See you all in the Fun tent later the water will be boiling for 0930. Coffee and most importantly the Yorkshire Tea is waiting.

There once was one in Newbury, but they then built flats on it. Not that this useless piece of information helps your bacon quest.

10 am Sunday in the Funsters marquee. Bring your own tea/coffee etc and £1 for each bacon butty you want. If you have one, wear your Fun badge. The marquee is at the top of the Fun area just before you get to the A34 verge! :-D
