Hi all!
I hope everyone is doing great. Really glad we came across this forum. We are very new to all things motorhome. We are getting married in June and planning on doing a 4 month Europe trip in a motorhome or campervan. Hoping to borrow all your experience for tips, tricks and ideas :)

Hi and welcome.

on a less positive note unless you have an EU passport or leave the Schengen zone mid trip you will not be doing 4 months in one go inside the EU.

its 90 days allowed in any 180 days rolling.

Welcome aboard.

Firstly unless you have an EU passport you cannot do more than 90 days in EU due to Brexit.

For ideas depends what you like to do/see but would highly recommend Germany (Rhine/Mosel/Bavaria), France (Loire/Dordogne/Provence/Atlantic Coast + many other areas).

Thanks all for the warm welcome. Should have said our plan would be to dip in and out of the Schengen zone to extend our time but still all very early days in planning.
Looking forward to hearing everyone's advice

Hi and welcome, suggest Motorhome. If you’re spending that much time living in it you will need the space. You’ll be surprised how much stuff you will need. Also ensure that you have plenty of solar power, decent leisure batteries. Try not to rely on gas unless you want to buy different bottles and regulators. Other than that enjoy 👍
