Newbie looking to buy first time...

Hi, I've just sold my house, and now looking to buy a 2-3 berth mh to travel Europe. I don't want a fixed bed. I've had a caravan in the past and have been quite happy sleeping on the couch. I'm looking to spend about £30-£40K. What are some of the flags I need to look for? Any/all suggestions greatly appreciated!

If buying privately, beware of Ebay and other marketplace scams. Asking for deposits, that sort of thing.
