Newbee and Leisure battery Charging

Hi, Just bought our first Campervan and very green. Ducato 6M Sunlight. It has a compressor fridge which works pretty well.
Was told it runs off the engine when travelling and Leisure Batt/hook up when stationary. also the engine charges leisure battery when travelling. Left a site with full battery after electric hook up, but leisure batt at 75% after 4 hour drive with fridge on.. Is it too much to expect the Engine to run the fridge and keep the battery charged. I just want to know before I investigate if the leisure battery is actually charging when driving or if engine actually running fridge. Thanks Andy

I'd expect the split charge/b2b to cover the complete draw from the fridge. When the engines running what voltage do you get from the leisure batt?

What is telling you that the battery is at 75%.
