The organisers of Broken Link Removedare keen to get some Funsters to attend (see email below) If we can get a few interested then they are happy to provide us with a heated marquee for use for coffee, beer and evening frolicks. This show is under new ownership and they are working hard to build the shows up.

Does anyone want to rally there? Or step up and marshal it. Sure to be a fun weekend (y)


Our club discount closes on the 27th July, so it would be nice to make members aware of the offer as well as the content of the show.

With the changes we have made for the Spring & Summer events we have been getting a lot of positive feedback and it has been good chatting to your members at the shows as well who seem very supportive of what we have been doing. At the Spring Show your marshals were looking for a room to do a tea / coffee morning meeting and they managed to talk the showground staff into opening a building for them. Also in the evening it was apparent they wanted to carry on having a few drinks and social gathering, so following a recent meeting at the Newark showground I wanted to discuss a potential opportunity to offer more value for your members.

We have been given an area where we could place a larger group, with a mixture of grass and hard standing pitches (near camping entrance) and we were thinking of building a Motorhome Fun area where we would supply you a marquee & power so you can provide your own refreshments and entertainment.

Is it just for one night as it would be our first ever rally
 
Usually away for September shows, but would be able to attend this one, first show rally with Fun. Hope you get enough interest to make it a goer.

We are booked for this show. With motorhome fun so thought it was go

Same weekend as Silverstone MotoGP, so will be on my own :)
 
Looking at information, it looks like £40 for two days show, ok for couples but a bit steep for solos, depends on whether I can get on site day before and leave morning after as is usual, cant find details of when camping area opens.

Looks like only one or two are going so there will not be much happening Funster wise. That said if any funsters do go they will probably be parked together. But if you want to go you should. Small get togethers like that can be brilliant (y)
 
Haven't been on a rally with the funsters before, but I guess it will be just like being back in Villasol, looking forward to it,

Unfortunately can't now make this weekend. Hope you all have a great time.
 
Will there be a specific area for Funsters as I've booked and more than happy to camp with other Funsters. No problem if you don't have your normal tea tent as you could forward cash so that we can buy tea and coffee and bikkies. ;-)

It is my big 50 on the 4th so should be a good one (y) just need to get Richard Sinclair to Reserve us a big table on Saturday night ::bigsmile:

Hi @Jim, @karl c already started a thread for anyone interested to go to the Autumn Newark Rally on 5/7/16. We had 23 vans last year 2015 that I asked for any interest and Richard Sinclair got us all parked together and we had a great FUN get together. Ok we've only got about 10 vans so far but more than one or two! but we'll have a great time.
