THINGS CHANGE BY THE HOUR-----

I HAVE JUST RECEIVED A TELEPHONE CALL FROM THE RACECOURSE.

DUE TO THE CARAVAN CLUB SITE ACTUALLY BEING FLOODED AND THAT'S THE HARD STANDING.....

WE ARE TAKING NO CHANCES.

WE ARE ON THE MOVE.....

WE ARE NOW BEING RELOCATED TO ANOTHER AREA OF THE RACE COURSE.

ALL IS NOW HARD STANDING--------

WE HAVE A NEW POSHER BAR...........

SO PLEASE IGNORE THE LAST INSTRUCTION FOR ENTRANCE..

TO THE NEW AREA. I NOW HAVE ACTUALLY NO IDEA OF THE WAY IN UNTIL I GET THERE EARLY ON THE FRIDAY MORNING.

SO AS I UNDERSTAND IT, DO NOT GO THROUGH THE CARAVAN CLUB ENTRANCE GO THROUGH THE MAIN ENTRANCE AND I WILL ERECT SIGNS WITH THE HELP OF JIM AND EDGY GET YOU ALL PARKED UP......

BOY THIS WEATHER DOES NARF MAKE THINGS HARD WORK :Angry:

More chance of the world ending than racing
But it should still be fun.

Hi Mike.

I spoke with the organisers yesterday. They told me it would be extremely rare for two events to be cancelled in succession. But this is extreme weather.

They fully expect the races to still go ahead but have to think of the horses first. Yesterday some of the course was underwater. Today, I suspect it is still the case as its peeing it down here.

However the forecast is for a bit more rain for a couple of days, then a cold snap with a few showers. If this was the case, remember we are still over a week away from race day, then they anticipate it will go ahead.

I really hope so as Nikki and I have tried to get a race meet to happen for some time and it would be a shame for god to spoil it.

Us moving had nothing to do with the long range forecast. It was more about ensuring that Nikki and I put in a contingency plan incase things did not improve and thus allowing for the meet to continue. There is a possibility (slim i know) that we would of been able to use the orignal place we had been given, however, I jsut wanted to be able to sleep at night:Wink: Knowing the event could go ahead.

Also please remember everyone, that your price includes the race tickets which are fully refundable should the racing not occur and you simply just end up coming to a great party :thumb:

And i forone think you have worked damed hard to get this far.
Thank you forall your efort.

Looking forward to it rain or not.

Have to make the most of what the man up there sends us.

I am sure its thefunsters that make the rally not a few old nags:Wink:

No i mean the horses not the funsters.
