New Year recommendations

Hiya! We often visit Valkenburg around Christmas or new year, but now that the Den Driesch camp site is closed, we can't find anywhere suitable to stay. We are wanting to do a new year visit this year so looking for campsite recommendations anywhere in that area of Europe - Belgium or The Netherlands. I can't find a suitable Valkenburg campsite that is easy walking into town (which is pretty heartbreaking) and so have wondered about Amsterdam, Antwerp or Ghent..... We want somewhere that is walkable into the town/city that has a good Christmas market still on after December 29th as public transport is usually non-existent on 31st and 1st. Open to suggestions of destinations that are worth investigating! Thank you in anticipation!
