New Triumph range

While I like some of the Triumph range. One thing that niggles me about the company's practise is that they laud and sell you the current model. 6 months later they produce a XS or SE model which devalues yours. They do this ad infinitum.

They have a great model range at the moment. I’m seriously considering the Tiger 900 GT Pro.
I fancy it in White with Black boxes.

Don’t forget about the Moto Guzzi V85TT Travel, well worth a look, easy to ride with good mpg, and goes around the curves like its on rails. One of the best adventure bikes I’ve ridden👍🏼

Yeah I did look at the Guzzi but it just seems a little down on power compared to its nearest competitors. A couple of the lads I go on tours with ride multistrada’s and I want to have at least a fighting chance of keeping up 😂😂😱🏍.
Plus I’m ashamed to say I’ve never had a Triumph. I know they’re not strictly English anymore but I just fancy owning what was once an iconic English bike.

My last four bikes have been Triumph, they are great bikes.

Just treated myself to a tiger 900 GT Pro and it is soooo very good, its light nippy and every thing else you want a bike to be.

You should test ride one 👍

I used to have a Tiger 800 Xrt.
That was until i returned to BMW.
Just how many Tiger derivaties do they need ?
There again i suppose tying to appeal to every niche market there is.

Great looking bikes, but no longer British. Made in Thailand. Triumph abandoned the UK for the far east and still claim they're a British bike. So what did I go and do?

I thought I'd buy a patriotically made bike and got a BMW. Then found out the engine was made in 'CHINA' :xrofl: DOH!!!!!!!!!

My wife and I looked at buying a Tiger each a good few years ago now, almost signed the dotted line, but then I asked for the servicing costs……….

Decided on a couple of Honda’s instead. (y)

The Honda scooter engines are made in China now apparently.

My CBF1000FAB was built in Italy, not sure where my wife’s CBF600 SA was built……..but I’m sure there are plenty of Chinese manufactured parts on them. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, not too bothered really, my KTM was assembled in India but seems good quality. It's when things are designed in China they sometimes fall apart.

They are all doing that now. I was looking at the Aprilia RS660 but the reviews were saying Nah - wait for the 'Factory' version, it'll be out inside a year (and it is)!

Probably need a good few derivatives to keep up with the various GS derivatives, like GS 700, 800, 850, 1200. GSA 800, 850, 1200. To list a few.
I have had a R1200GS.

My last bike was a Triumph Rocket 111, Roadster. Although a great bike and always reliable the chrome work on it was crap. If you polished the exhausts to often the chrome disappeared. When I removed the rear chrome trims to fit a back rest the chrome to the underside was non existent, just rust.
I have always predominantly rode Jap bikes, usually Honda's and the odd couple of Harleys.
I don't think I would be rushing out to buy another Triumph. Although the Bobbers do look good. On the surface.
I wish I'd never sold my Rune to be honest.

Can’t go wrong with a Fantic TI Sprint…

And the air cooled, oil heads, water cooled. But then pointing this out doesn’t fit with lets have a go at Triumph post does it?

Only to say i had Bmws then 2 Trumps.
Gone back to BM.
In my view much better quality and better thought out bikes.

This was mostly a good bike apart from a shocking Pro select gearbox. Sold it after 8k miles for the Gold wing i have now.
