New to us Elddis 135 Accordo - Cobra alarm problem!

Good morning one and all - after a nine year break from being Moho owners we’ve (hooray) been able to get back on the road with the above model sooo pleased.
But we seem to have alarm setting difficulties although himself was certain he’d set it correctly
It’s been singing it’s ‘song’ a few times since arriving home 48hrs ago !!

We had a Cobra fitted a few weeks ago and in this hot weather it was going off at around 4oclock every day! The fitters answer was to turn the internal sensors off by first setting the alarm with the big button then pressing it again briefly. This causes the indicator light to flash once and a little beep sound. So far it's worked, and when it cools down can go back on again.
