New starter Battery and Maintainer

Well been away on holiday for a few weeks (lovely cruise in the Caribbean) only to find on our return that the MH starter battery was siting at 8.5v so new battery required.

As our van has a Lithium set up decided to install a Ablemail AMT12-2 trickle charger that feds from the lithium leisure battery to the vehicle battery, which will hopefully keep the new Yuasa YBX5019 battery topped up.

Looked at various battery maintainers and could only find Ablemail was the only charger that could be programmed for Lithium/ lead acid batteries.

I've recommended the Ablemail to a couple of people in Scotland with lithium where they have had problems with battery masters and they have worked a treat.

You could try doubling the charge rate it will be setting 6 or 7 depending on alternator.

Thanks for that Leny just read all the instructions again and had planned to use setting 2 but could use setting 6 for the higher charge rate.
