Whilst in the services I was "training" a young officer who decided he wanted a dog. He called said dog "defer" (as in D for dog!) 3 months down the line the lads nicknamed the young officer "Wefer" ( W for W--ker)
Worked for me................
:D

We were offered two English Setters last month......... we were in King's Lynn and they were being walked by a lady who works for the rehoming charity. The setters decided they adored me and dragged her across the road so they could check me out. I had to say no :( :( :( as taking on a pair of dogs is just not practical at the moment. They were fabulous though and setters through and through.

Now that I like .The story not the name.:ROFLMAO:

Our black lab girl pup is being collected this Saturday. She will be 8 weeks old then. We are struggling with names and time is getting close now.

Martin says of we do ever get another dog (very unlikely) he will call it "Dog" and if it is of the female gender he will call it "Bitch".

Using Google translate is a good way to come up with names, just put in words that make you think of the dog and see what they translate to.

we had a Samoyed some years back. Beautiful looking dogs and good natured. The weather is too hot where we live to have one.

Tilly, Noodles.my dogs get what I call their Sunday name, then get called something else, based on character and personality. They have always come to all derivatives. Hannah - Han ban, honey bun a (Yorkshire terrier) Madison- mad bad, Maddy, (bull terrer) Chelsea-bun bun (a bull terrier), I’d have her cloned) Daisy- noods or noodles( wire daxie, current) hubby calls her stinky cause she will roll in anything smelly, Tallulah- till bill, skinny bint(she is an Italian greyhound, also current)Tilly bobs, a real lady.

We have decided to get a new puppy. A female Samoyed . We will not be getting her until the 5th of April. Any one help with a new name for her. Not Sasha or Sammy. Our last two was called that . Thanks funsters.
