Just got a Hymer (new to me) and had a look around.
Found these two items in one cupboard, a solar charge controller and something else.
But by batteries is another solar charge controller??

So I'm confused by this, can someone identify the first two similar items ?

The EP Solar controller, with its own display MeTer. There are no wires going to the solar panel input pos and neg (the middle two terminals), so it looks like it's not in use. Maybe an old installation. The wires to the two batteries won't be doing anything.

The 'LR1218 SOLAR-LADEREGLER' (= solar charge regulator) is made by the same people that make the EBL, so it's designed to work OK with it. The solar panel twin wires (black & red) go to the Solar Modul plus and minus. The leisure battery (Wohnraumbatterie) brown (minus) and black (plus - yes really) wires are also connected, as is the plus of the starter battery (double red)

Thanks autorouter , I sort of guessed that maybe the case. I intend replacing with Lithium and better charger etc in future, so I guess all this lot will be redundant too.

Both of them not suitable Lithium, the first one is a real cheap and nasty one.
The Schaudt is old hat it's a single stage charger that gives out a constant 14.2v
