Planning our first trip to Bordeaux France with dog, Daisy and Fiat Ducato “Betsy” in September. Any tips/ dog friendly places to visit would be much appreciated

So many places in France to choose from, your never far from something of interest in France.
I usually start with the Les Plus Beaux Villages de France book, beautiful villages of France, and take it from there.
It's worth using the apps searchforsites, camping car parks and park4night.
They can give good ideas for towns, beaches, villages you may want to visit.

What route are you taking? That might throw up some useful info and suggestions?
I would consider buying All the Aires France or even last year's publication. They make for a really good planning tool and are full of advice and tips for first timers. After a while you will realise you prob don't need them and can progress onto the Park4Night and Search4Sites apps.
I think there is even a Motorhome Fun guide somewhere in the resources section ...
