There's been something missing from the motorhome, and it's a motorbike. I've gone and bought a Honda Grom 125 and it's a bit of a laugh. It's a bit of a pocket bike for me (I'm 6ft), but the bike is 102kg's and good to take with me for travelling. I hit 60 on it, so it's fine, plus it puts a smile on my face. I've got 2 x 1000cc bikes in the garage at home, but as they are circa 200kgs, they're out the question for payload.

What bikes do others take with them in the motorhome?

Arron.

Seen one on site today, tempted.

It looks like the modern version of the monkey bikes. When I was working in on a ranch Canada the owners son had one. I didnt get chance to ride it but seemed fast for its size . Being a typical farmer it looked too small for him.

I contemplated the Monkey Bike, but going two up isn't a legal option. The Grom was next on the list. Plus it was £200 cheaper too, so it's a win win.

Do it, you won't regret it. At the end of the day, it's a 125, so don't be expecting to break any land speed records. But it's a scream to ride flat out.

At £3799 OTR, it's a bargain.

Honda SH 350
Had one for a while it was actually great fun 😂

What bike rack is that you have on the back? I've a 110kg motorbike I've been thinking about taking along on a few trips when we pick up our new van. We purposly specified a smaller garage to give more bedroom space, so a rack is the only option.

Cheers,

Steve

I have got a very nice, ultra low mileage Sinnis supermoto 125 for sale in the classifieds very cheap!

heliart I bought it second hand, but it looks like it was originally bought from here. It bolts straight to the chassis and it's pretty solid. Once the bike is attached with the handlebar clamp, there's no movement, but I put a couple of ratchet straps on too, just for peace of mind.

I have a Suzuki SV650 which fits in the back (just).
