Hi All, our 2014 Autotrail roof fan has stopped working. Normally you can pull air in or push it out. At this time when turned on, red lights on the fan flicker between the pulling air or pushing air out symbol. Can anyone please suggest a DIY fix for this problem?
THANKS

Our fan control board failed in a similar fashion. The lights blinked alternately rather than flickered though.
We had to replace it as unable to repair. Problem can be damp getting in which is not surprising as rain can easily get in open window above.

sound like you have power to it so either just a bad wire connection, water getting in to short it or its just duff and needs replacing like above.

Dear Riverbankannie your description of alternate blinking is a better description than flickering. As Tonka says there is power to the unit. Thanks for the info, will see if I get anymore suggestions.

Ours did the same, it's a very common fault. All fixed now, I put a new Chinese speed controller module on it 👌

Do all the red lights flash one or two times? This happened to mine. It was caused by the fan being stuck. I fixed this by spinning the blade few rotations each way. You can do this without removing any covers etc, you just need a thin tool to get into vent and move the blade. I used a flat chopstick thing from Wagamamas.

Thanks for the additional replies. As suggested, having manually spun the fan a couple of times it is now working again. So will see how we get on.

A couple of weeks on and the fan is working well. It may be infrequent use as the MoHo does not get used very often.
