Great location 33 km from Port...very clean, showers, electricity. Easy access. Friendly owner....we are there now...but not going to Port...

That’s good, nice and close to the port giving time to visit. Our Spanish friends have said the city is beautiful . Thanks.

Looks similar to one at Herradura we stopped on, but better value. It had one toilet, one shower and one sink per sex

Brilliant
we stayed last year
my 2 dogs had a wee go at the strange moving object,(robot lawnmower)

We were there four years ago in April and stayed a few days.
We had a very dodgy walk along the cliffs that ended up with us climbing over some gates of big houses to get back to the road safely . We were the only ones there then.

We were thinking of staying there in a couple of weeks ( at a weekend) and wondered if it's busy at weekend there. ( We are having to think about where to be at weekends along the Portugal west coast at the moment as it gets a bit busy!)

It's been full this weekend (and also their overflow field). There is a three day Folk Festival on at the moment. How that has impacted, I don't know.

We're starting to think we need to be clever where we go at weekends now.

How do they control the charge to dump 🤔 or is that only if you don’t stop over?

Great aire stayed a couple of times and there are some good cycling routes as well!

Always makes me giggle whenever I see or hear the verb 'molestar' in use. Years ago a female friend and I had sat down on a bench whilst exploring the Alhambra - she spoke Spanish, I didn't, so our usual modus operandi was to both listen 'interestedly' then she'd deal with the reply if needed, then translate for me. Chap on his own about the same age sat nearby and spoke to us - of course, in Spanish, we're both dark haired and were tanned, we hadn't seen each other before in our visit, so a perfectly OK assumption. "Hello, I hope I'm not whaaaaat!!??? you?" I could translate and understand so much anyway. Well no you ain't and you'd best not try either ........ said my thoughts bubble - so just let her get on with it, cos she seems OK and she'll no doubt explain later.

She then asked me in English if I was ready to carry on. which I was, so we nodded to him and continued away from the benches. Then explained the meaning of the verb and carried on telling me what he'd said and I quote -'and then he asked me, either if we were singing or were tired, I do get them mixed up still - so on balance, I reckoned prob'ly the latter, meself!'

Sadly - certain visitors to aires don't understand that verb either!
