Need advice on a few issues

As many of you know my van was damaged in a hit and run

1............after 12 days LV claims have still not spoken to me despite me ringing many times ,, so I have decided to get the windscreen done on my own account , so I can legally drive my van ..

2............The other repairs are dependent of quotes from repairers which I am waiting on 2 from Sussex area so that will take time and even then parts will need to be ordered etc so thats a way off in time

3...............However I will be moving to Swindon in November so maybe better to get quote from a motorhome repairer in Swindon area ANY RECCOMENDATION ??????

4..............also My van has been covered in Bird Poo especially the roof , its minging the seagull in Worthing are evil how can I get it clean ,, currently I have no access to ladder, water etc as im in middle of moving and living in the van

Can't help with 1, 2 or 3. But 4 is a problem, that segull stuff could be bottled as glue. Unless you can get access to a ladder, it will have to wait till you can. There is no rush, once it's spent an hour on your roof it's as hard to get off as when it's been on a month.

Spoken now with 2 Adria dealers and none do body repairs and both said Adria bumper and rear lights plastic panel spares a mo longer available. All the repair shops for repair s in Swindon area are no longer doing bodywork only mechanical.

I've seen the Eastern European car wash boys cleaning the roof of a motorhome . I'm sure you have them down your way although other nationalities are available. Just make sure they keep the pressure washer away from any sealed areas.
