With the heat apparently coming and even warmer climes to head for, one should always look after one's white or rose after the initial purchase in a vineyard or upmarket lidls.

Place in fridge for suitable amount of time, decork or undo bottle top, pour into glass. THEN take the frozen grapes out of the freezer and place in poured wine to keep the wine chilled without diluting it with ice cubes. They count as part of your five a day after you have supped your wine.

Blueberries are also good or any other "sealed" fruit that can be eaten once thawed out.

For those of a Leffe blonde or lidls imitation of a leffe blonde for half the price, I can recommend frozen strawberries as the frozen fruit of choice with this beverage.

I cannot help you if you are drinking real ale and are thinking of putting frozen fruit in there.

ah, this is where the collapsible bucket / watering can, filled with fresh mountain spring water (ok drinking water from site tap) comes in..........thanks to wombles lol(y)
