I am a bit late to the party on this as I have only just gone through the switch from UK Insurance to Aviva.
I have noticed the following positive change that wasn't highlighted in their initial introductory letter:
Reading through the policy document, the old insurance only covered riding motorbikes if above 125cc and if used to travel from your home area. This may have caused and issue if taken in a motorhome. Also under Included Activities it states riding motorcycles up to 125cc only, which I guess was when hiring bikes.
But the good news is the Aviva policy document does not have the above 2 conditions. The only reference to motorcycles is that you must wear a helmet and your must have the appropriate UK license for any motor vehicle used.
So that was a nice surprise.
