I'm really impressed with UK travel insurance via the Flex Plus account. My wife was admitted to hospital on Monday 26th and discharged Wed 28th.We were due to fly to Tenerife on the 27th. Contacted UK insurance today at 2pm and claimed for loss of holiday. The claim was approved at 6pm tonight. Just have to claim the flight taxes from YUI. She is OK now but due to go back for a recheck in a couple of months.

Thats good news we use nationwide but luckily not had to use them yet.
A bit off topic ish. I have just had to renew out moho insurance and have used Caravan Guard. They offer breakdown cover as standard. Said i already have it with Nationwide but they say its comes as standard with the policy.
Does anyone know who they use for recovery because our moho is 3850kg and some companies dont recover over 3500kg.

I'm with nationwide & it's good to hear of positive experiences so thanks for posting.

Glad your wife is ok & hope you get your holiday!

We were booked on C and C club rally in 2016/17 in Spain.,,paid up front approx 1000 quid and could not go because of better half's illness. One phone call,,form sent out for Doctor to sign,, Returned and received pay out less 100 quid excess within two weeks..BUSBY.

I was in Belgium just before covid when engine blew up and had to use m/way breakdown/storage and fly back home .My Nationwide Flexplus ins retrieved my van and paid flight and storage etc .
