Hi Does anyone know if the breakdown cover is restricted to 90 days in 180 or is it all year cover ?

I think you will find that many break down services make the same statement about servicing. As long as you can prove the servicing you have done I cannot see a problem. I've had to use breakdown services of the RAC previously and never been asked about servicing before they will do anything.

An AA chap told me that some motorists are known to them (records of all call-outs are kept) who abuse the system by treating the breakdown service as an alternative to maintenance and servicing.
If you do your own keep the receipts for parts used.

Yes I get that and can understand why they would say what they say, so I cannot see it being a problem for the occasional breakdown.

I searched the T&C's a few weeks ago and couldn't find anything relating to limits on cover time wise. I think some people get confused with limits on the personal travel insurance aspect of the Nationwide cover.

Need to look at this myself , just got a letter from saga saying their Breakdown cover is no longer available as a stand alone policy .I have used them the last 4 years and had a breakdown near Bilbao in march,which they dealt with ,with no problems.
So the search is on as my policy runs out mid August.
