Called Nationwide travel insurance for an upgrade.
Got asked the usual questions, we are away to far east on a cruise in March, and also away to europe in Hymer later for 8 or 9 weeks so needed annual cover for me and swmbo.
One thing thats really puzzled me, after stating all our health issues, the annual policy increased by £30, so not bad really. Then I mentioned we'd both had bronchitis whilst away over Christmas and been dealt with at the doctors with antibiotics, not thinking this was anything to be concerned over with regards to the insurance policy upgrade.
Well, obviously getting bronchitis is very serious, even though it only lasted as long as the antibiotics (7 days), our quote has now gone up by £120, (£60 each).
For something that lasts a week to have such an impact has really surprised us.
