Not sure we will make this Show https://mcshow.co.uk/ this year but will post anything new & interesting that we spot on the social media feeds - please do add anything you see too
The on site camping CAMC camping https://mcshow.co.uk/plan-your-visit/onsite-campsite/ (anyone can book not just CAMC members) opened for booking a while ago but at £38-£48 for Show nights it is expensive for a car park with basic facilities & EHU - can't beat it for convenience though & hugely cheaper than the hotels in the area for this period! Last year those that visited for the day commented about the queues in & out of the NEC but no such concerns when camping on site. It's a shortish walk to the Show Halls & near to the transfer bus stop but please note that buses become less frequent late mornings when the car parks near to the camping area are full as they focus on the new arrivals in the car parks further away. Last year the paved areas had surface water with all the rain but weren't muddy like the shingle ones & arriving earlier in the week meant more chance of being pitched away from the big generators - the marshals understood our request not to be too close to the residual hum that still ensued despite the sound deadening panels around them. Despite the prices the pitches are likely to be full for the prime days at least so booking early is advisable.
