Narrower width motorhomes advice

Folks two things if you want a narrow MoHo....Breath in...you may just get past those obstacles, the alternative is to just put your foot down get enough speed and take everything with you

Any idea what the width is including the mirrors? It looks like carthago only want to say what the body shell width is plus something like 70mm for the wheel arches.
Mirrors are hardly ever included in Motorhome width.

Probably about 180mm each side from the body, but the Carthago mirrors you can give them a firm twist and they will fold, or they did on our C Tourer.
Same mirrors but mine are very hard to move and it wouldn't gain much.

They told me categorically that they don’t fold but I was about to two inches too wide for my garage so I got on some steps held top and bottom and gave them a good twist and they eventually pivoted after that they were easier, they have detents on them as well so they probably set them up before the glass is fitted then tighten the nut, mine were all ok after so if you are desperate be brave 👏

Agreed, but when you have a narrow gap to get through it’s probably the most important measurement.

Just close your eyes and take a deep breath. 🤣

Could’ve done with narrow one this morning, lorry parked and refused to move or mount the pavement. Had to fold passenger mirror in so Lorr was my eyes on that side, took photos and told him we were reporting to police as no sings or anything beforehand and he said he’d be there for another hour 😂
The railing on drivers side had a bend in it so was narrow in middle.
