N3097 test

I have a thetford N3097 fridge and only want to use it on mains only but need to check if it works before I install. I understand it needs a 12v supply to do this, can any one help.

I have no idea myself, but they usually have a control panel which needs 12v.

Also the light will be 12v.

Yes it will need 12v to power the electronics.
Being a 3 way fridge it will be more efficient on gas and running constantly on mains the element probably won't last that long. You would be better off with a compressor fridge.

Already have this fridge and would rather use

My 3000 series has a small compartment where you can fit AA batteries if your 12v has failed. Sorry about the video quality but hopefully you'll get the idea.
