i have Rheumatoid Arthritis and have difficulty walking any distance so I carry an all terrain TGA trike this is my set up for carrying and charging.
My hoist is remote controlled I have 375 w of solar panel and 3 marine 110 gel batteries and a victron inverter

Sue uses a TGA Breeze trike which we tow with the moho. You seem to be well set up. Our van is only 3500 kg and we couldn't carry the scooter. Sue has MS which we are regulating with GF and DF diet. I believe your sort of arthritis is auto immune, have you tried diet as a means to alleviating the symptoms? Hope you don't mind my asking but we are spreading the word.

Yes it is an auto immune and I am on long term medication given intravenously every 6 mths it seems to be helping but I have been on so many of these drugs that eventually stop working but fingers crossed, my MH has been up plated by the previous owner at 3875 so hopefully it is ok though I’ve never actually weighed it
Diets I have tried them but don’t have any effect for me.

What sort of range do you get on your TGA trike after a years use of batteries?

We charge Sue's TGA Breeze S3 after every time we use it. We average about 800/1000 miles a year and find the batteries begin to fail after about 8 months use.

Really useful adaptation with your hoist.

Gosh I don’t know my mileage but I use it a lot and I have just changed the batteries the ones I took out where put in June 2011 because we dated them when we put them in.
