Cards like Halifax you can block easily if you use the app. or online. I would suggest doing this is you are not using the card for a period of time. When you go away you can unblock it.

They do, unless the online retailer does not ask for the CVV or dates.. Amazon only recently asked for a lot more data, without the extra data the purchase can and should be rejected, these purchases usually linked to kids, nothing physically delivered just software of items added to an online game..

Thats what I said to Barclays Fraud department, but, they do not tell you how the person done or name the person unfortunately !!
