My battery saga goes on!
It was suggested by one or two of you that I should put my batteries on mains electricity (to wake them up!) for at least 24 hours have done this for 48 hours. I will report to anybody who is interested in the next couple of days to see if this worked.

While trying to sort this problem out I have been checking all the wires etc to see if everything was connected to my best knowledge they were.

But under the passenger seat I found a small blue box which looks like a B2B which I did not know I had and is not working, that if it is a B2B.

Hopefully a picture of it should be the next thread .

It would make it easier for us if you kept it all on one thread 3 threads so far and you are goining to start another one, mighty confusing.

Agreed, and helpful too if you colyboy, could respond to questions that respondents ask. You’ll get focussed answers much more quickly that way. 👍

PS, my offer of help still stands but we’re in the Algarve now; you?

What have you tried that Ecotree suggested.
Have you checked the output from your charger when your on 240v ehu.?

Re my batteries. Ecotree suggested I put both on mains electricity for 24 hours plus. As they stated that batteries can get “lazy”. I tried this and they are NOT losing any power!!!. Will keep an eye on them over next few days.

Thanks everybody for your suggestions (well most were!)

What parameters are you able to view on your BMS?

Ian

Ian. BMS means what?

Battery Management System; it’s an integral part of your LiFePo4 battery - it controls/protects your battery.

Do you not have an App where you can view the battery status?

Where are you located now?

Ian

BMS Means Battery Management System. Also, it might be helpful to those who are trying to assist you if you provide some more detailed information. Can you establish what voltage your batteries are receiving when on hook up and what they are on after being disconnected from hook up after a couple of hours ?

Thanks. We will not be on hook up for a few days will try then and report back.

At present we have just stopped ( in Spain) for a cuppa.

The solar is 48W. The battery is showing 13.47 the current shows 3.50a

I think this is your solar panel state rather than your battery condition. Never mind, I'm sure all will be sorted in time.

I think you really need a battery monitor that shows actual capacity as a number or a % i'm not sure that your battery BMS offers this so you need something fitting when you get home would be my suggestion.

I would have a few more cuppas ,using gas of course.and just relax. (y) it must all sound very confusing for you.o_O

Thanks everybody for your info and suggestions.

PLEASE be kind to me in the future when I use two three or more threads for the the same query. At my age +++ plus, I find it hard to keep up with this modern technology.
