I previously mentioned I might go for this brand, well I did. 😎
Having been happy with another brand of budget tyres I decided on these,
Nankang AW8 , I like the tread pattern they have and they are marked with the 3 peaks logo. They also have a good manufacturing date.
I won’t be able to give any feedback until my new alloys arrive next month and get them fitted.

Tread pattern looks good, be interested in hearing your views on them after the winter (y)

Cheers

I’m not likely going to use them over the winter, I bought them as hoping to go to Greece early next spring so will need to transit Germany. They will get a good run through France,Spain and Portugal come September.
Also wet grass now that I’m front wheel drive. 😢

Trev, have you told Paul he's got a tyre fitting job coming up?:giggler:

Taiwan company, tyres made in China.
Quite a few of the big tyre names are now getting manufactured in China.

Neither did I until they never changed a partially seized brake caliper, it fully seized on me 3 weeks later. I replaced it myself, no apology from them.
I had asked them to have a good look at my car as the consumption had increased, I had booked it in for a service and MOT.

Message to the OP, how are you finding these tyres?
Are they also M & S rated?
Yes they are M&S if you look at the pictures, I have done around 3000 miles now and i'am very pleased with them. Drove from Central Scotland to the south of France, then through Andorra into Spain. Got as far as Benidorm, we didn't have any really bad conditions but they are certainly better than the Michelin campers.

I have the Michelin Cross Climates on both Cars and they are excellent, compared to the Goodyear Wrangler they were shod with before. However I would add that the depth of tread from new is less than others provide from new which might be a negative in terms of grip. Cost has never been an issue for me when it comes to tyres but I was surprised the tread depth was less than others I had viewed.

buy them off season and they are cheaper, that’s when I buy them and many of my motorsport friends as we use them for trialling and other events, they are always dearer at this time of the year - something called demand pull inflation!

It would have been nice if you had posted this previously. 🤷🏼‍♂️
