But a lot have wooden floors etc and the fiat's air intakes are quite low too . Still be some damage to most of them . Unless that was a flash flood though I honestly can't understand why folk didn't move .Not good, but for most in the OP's video it looks as though the water has not got up to hab floor level, at least at that time.
Actually Tam in my experience not many people can assess a situation and act...they need to be told..I'm like you...I would be checking frequently..Ooft
That looks grim , I'd be devastated.
One has to ask though ....did they not think to move when it didn't stop raining .
Is that on the aire beside the petrol station between aguilas and playa carraleona?
until they release the MIDGESMy mum used to always say there were benefits to living in cold damp Scotland.
Very little flooding compared to other places , no earthquakes, tornados, hurricanes, tsunamis, famines, droughts, etc etc
Aye but that's only in the Highlands and mostly on the west where the Heather is. There are no midges around the central belt where I lived. Biggest flood would be a puddle 6/8 inches deep loluntil they release the MIDGES![]()
Jees I bet they wished they'd free camped on the beachYes, according to other reports.
I learned in Greece a few years ago how quickly the area around you can change when it rains and have since became very vigilant .Actually Tam in my experience not many people can assess a situation and act...they need to be told..I'm like you...I would be checking frequently..
We have moved the MH during heavy rain or wind...
We used to live near this place, so know it a little...but what needs to be taken into account is not what's around you, but above you...further up the valleys..that's how the Valencia catastrophe happened.
We fly back to base tonight...our apartment is third floor and our vehicles secure...I think..![]()

Now if its been raining a lot I'm constantly checking outside for puddles developing etc and once it's up to the wheel rim I'm moving....there's no way I'd hang around till it was touching the chassis etc.
