If my motorhome is connected to EHU, can a multiplug (e.g. the type with individual switches for each socket) be used in a fitted socket to run more than one appliance?

Yes.

Amperage of the supply and the wattage of the accessories plugged into the multiplug will determine how many you can operate at once.
