Quick update for anyone interested. Leaving Ay-champagne we drove about 20mins up into the hills to Hautville, a really pretty village with lovely views. We then headed for the lake but decided the weather was too nice to continue driving and detoured to a little 5 van France passion champagne stop instead :-

We had a cycle up there yesterday.
Good Aire at Mutigny as well for overflow at marueil.
Just got back in country.
