Looking to fit a dual battery charging 30a mppt controller but struggling to find one that is suitable.
Any recommendations from members would be welcome.

had no issues with an EPever Duoracer. Only sends 1 amp to the vehicle battery though, if you are looking for more. Also branded as Photonic Universe from 12 v planet.

I have a single output victron mttp controller to the leisure and then the battery master from the leisure to the starter. It actually was simpler to set up that way and works great.

I have just finished installing a solar panel on the roof of the motorhome that is connected to an EPever duo racer Mppt controller. All appears to work well

Just a question to this topic, can the load terminals on the Victron solar controller feed some power to the starter battery,
One already feeds the fridge outside extraction fans, on my setup, I have an additional controller that could be used for this purpose if it would work,

Another happy user of the Votronics duo both 165 and next one up (Not the largest) (different voltage panels). Initialy with FLA now LiFePO4.

Bear in mind that a dual solar charge controller will only feed the cab battery when the sun shines or if there is bright daylight, whereas a Batter Master or Ablemail are keeping your cab battery topped up 24/7/365. (y)
Good point, and of these I preferred the Ablemail as it is a lot more intelligent with programmed and adjustable thresholds controlling the transfer of power from leisure to starter battery. It also has an optional, though admittedly expensive, Bluetooth module which lets you monitor the two batteries on your phone. Some people have Bluetooth connectivity problems with this, as I did to start with, but the helpful owner of the company explained how to change the power saving setting and mine has been 100% reliable since doing that.

It should be remembered that as the dual charge solar controllers only charge both batteries in daylight the other way only charges until the leisure battery falls to the preset level so neither are perfect
