Have a lifetime subscription on an S5+ and Moving Intelligence dont seem interested in moving it to another vehicle.

Anyone done this using an independent fitter for example? SE based.

I believe they tend to be fitted in just a handful of possible locations in reality

We enquired about this and either the supplying dealer or moving intelligence could move it at a reasonable cost however the subscription is not transferable to another vehicle so you would need to subscribe again.
We had a new system fitted to the new van as the dealer wouldnt give a price for the work and wouldnt allow any other company to come and do it at their premises. Due to the value of the mh the insurance insisted it was fitted before it went on the road.

Thanks. Do you know how they would know if the tracker was moved to another vehicle if I put it "In service" moode during the transfer? Managed to get this one fittwd at the dealerahip by MI's engineer who were both very flexible to be fair

I'd have told them to cancel the purchase bet they would soon change their minds.

Registration number of the vehicle unless you are taking a number late with you ?

Our insurance had the same rule, but gave us a 7 day exemption as long as it was not parked on the public road.

We drove straight from the dealers forecourt in the Midlands to VanBitz in the West Country to have the tracker/alarm/immobiliser fitted, and then sent the certificate to the insurer.

I had a new Scorpion S5 tracker fitted to my new motorhome but transferred the balance of the subscription from the previous vehicle, to the new tracker.

I had about three years left that I’d paid in advance. Just called Scorpion and they sorted it over the phone.

I didnt ask that specific question nor did they suggest it but I will (and go elsewhere if plan A does'nt work out)
