A lot of you speak very highly of Bonterra and although we've had a pleasant stay here the question has been asked "do we move on? "
Don't wanna treck too far cuz we'll be turning for home in another week or two and not wanting to add massively to the long drive home .
So is there anywhere you more experienced travellers would recommend towards Valencia?
Thanks in advance

Cannot recommend anywhere along the coast but Valencia is a wonderful city to visit. We have overnighted at camping Puzol, just outside, where you could no doubt get a bus from but I don’t think it’s open until mid January. We have stopped a number of times at Valencia Camper Park just off the outer motorway and have caught the train into the city on one occasion. It is HERE

Kiko Park at Oliva is about 110 miles further down the coast from Bonterra.
Quite often very busy so may be worth a call before hand.

Edit...
Just checked their website and you can now book online!

Thank you both (y) thats great , i'll put both suggestions to 'the boss' and see what she says 😁

Still not massively far thanks Martin (y) thats another option then .
As nice as Bonterra is i reckon we're gonna want a change soon

Another vote for Camping Javea, we have stayed 3 times and really like the place, easy walk to the old town, port and Arenal, big supermarket also in easy walking distance. The only thing we have found it a bit noisy at weekends when the locals come for a weekend away. So choose a pitch in and amougst long term stayers, to avoid youngsters in tents rocking up next to you on a Friday evening.

Cheers Parrot Face , so just a touch further north . (y)
We dont have ACSI but we can still give it a look , thanks .

Anyone at Bonterra atm who can tell me if it’s full or not, i’m 8.8mtrs so need a large pitch

we are at Eden Peniscolar and it’s like Covid lockdown all over again, we didn’t find a single bar open from the site up to the castle. So walked back to the site bar and it had shut as only open afternoons. Needless to say we weren’t told that when we arrived 😟

Def a place to cross of our list for our winter tour

thanks

Al

One or two during the day but not many if i'm honest .
Taking the dog out about 8 will scope the place then ;)

We rang them and they only had the one pitch spare .....then when we said we wanted a large pitch .....as if by magic ...one of those appeared.

Some pitches are 'snug' .
we're only 7.4m but there aint much spare room on the 2 pitches we've had .

We've tried 3 'premium' pitches here and this last one is the only comfortable one for our 7.4m MH .
They do vary quite abit it seems .

Sorry Al ; we don't do 'happy hour' so i have no idea .
Just off for a shower and then take the dog out .
Have you decided how long you're here for yet ?
