Moving an island bed

Has anyone converted an island bed to two singles in a Swift edge I’m finding the double bed very uncomfortable due my arthritis. Are there any companies that do this sort of conversion and are there any implications. Tia

Have you considered two separate mattress,s
Got to be cheaper than modifying and far less disruptive.
We have a 5ft king bed at home and bought two 2ft6in mattresses.
made a world of difference
