Not so new now
Good afternoon,

IMG_5501.jpegDoes anyone have knowledge of taking one of these windows apart to fix the flyscreen?

The fly screen, which rolls upward, has ceased to retract, no tension in the spring mechanism.

I‘ve looked on line and various forums but can’t find anything for this specific model. It’s fitted to a coach built Autosleeper circa 2018.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Thanks Scotjimland,

Unfortunately the video is for a different model.

The version I have does not have removable corners. There are 4 perforated sections which I suspect clip off to reveal various screw fastenings.

To avoid any mistakes and before giving it ago, I wanted to check if anyone has done this.

Cheers.

Do you have the type which have corner mouldings? They are just push on and you need to use a thin pallet type blade to ease them off and then you will expose the fixing screws.
Try this

Yes I see that from the video however you will see from the photo that this window does not have clip on corners.
I shall remove the vertical and horizontal perforated strips and see what’s behind.
Thanks again.

I’ve now fixed the non retracting flyscreen which was caused by a broken tension bush not keeping the spring rod in place. I have used super glue and accelerator as a temporary repair, which has worked, whilst I await a new piece from Liesureshopdirect.com

it was all quite straightforward, the fun part is trying to keep the spring tensioned whisk inserting the rod end into the tension bush!!

I thought I would post the photos below to assist anyone with the same issue in the future.
