Hi there,

I’m thinking of adding wifi to my Motorhome and was wondering if you good people could point me in the direction of the best buys. TIA

Lots of threads already posted ref Wi-Fi, just use the search option above and you’ll find lots of info to cover all your needs.

Basically, you’ll need a mifi (Huawei 5577 for example) or a router (Huawei B535 for example) and a data SIM…
…and to read what PP Bear has linked to…!(y);)

Like most things it's down to how much you are willing to spend. I've been thinking about upgrading myself but prices from motorhome Wi-Fi and Falcon technology have scared me off a bit.

I'm sticking with my EE sim in a 4gee device.

As far as I can see the real advantage you are getting from spending the amount they quote is from the better aerial meaning you'll pick up a stronger signal in more places.

Netgear M2 or similar is a good option. one of the problems of a fixed wifi solution is that it cant be taken with you if needed - ie off to a hotel or holiday not in the motorhome. one of the best things about a fixed solution is that its there when you need it, no messing around LOL

i like the Motorhome Wifi - they have always provided great support for me !

hmmm, not sure about that, my resent testing so far indicates that the improvement does not out way the extra cost
